PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING AEGIS. BY INSTALLING, ACCESSING, OR USING AEGIS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aegis browser extension, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Product”).
By installing or using the Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Product.

The Product may be used for privacy and ad-blocking functionality by individuals of any age, subject to applicable law.
Monetization, rewards, and wallet functionality are subject to additional eligibility requirements:
By enabling monetization or wallet features, you represent that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements where required.
AEGIS may restrict monetization or wallet features in certain jurisdictions or for certain age groups to comply with applicable law.
Subject to these Terms, AEGIS grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the executable version of Aegis for lawful purposes.
AEGIS retains all intellectual property rights in the Product except for open-source components governed by their respective licenses.
You may not:

Some features are disabled by default and require explicit user activation.
AEGIS may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
If you enable Ads or Rewards:
AEGIS does not custody user funds.
All settlement occurs according to smart contract logic and public blockchain rules.
You acknowledge:
AEGIS does not guarantee reward amounts, campaign availability, payout frequency, or continued operation of any reward program.
AEGIS reserves the right to modify reward calculations, eligibility rules, and program structure to prevent abuse, comply with law, or improve the Product.
Wallet functionality is non-custodial.
You are solely responsible for:
AEGIS does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice.
Participation in reward or settlement features may involve digital assets, including stablecoins. You acknowledge and accept the following risks:
Stablecoin Risk. Stablecoins may lose parity with their reference asset. Issuers may suspend redemptions. Regulatory actions may affect transferability or liquidity.
Smart Contract Risk. Smart contracts may contain coding errors, vulnerabilities, or unforeseen design flaws. Execution may fail or behave unexpectedly.
Blockchain Risk. Blockchain networks may experience congestion, forks, reorganization events, validator failures, or outages. Transactions may be delayed or become economically impractical due to network fees.
Irreversibility. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. If you send digital assets to an incorrect address, they may be permanently lost.
Regulatory Risk. Laws governing digital assets are evolving. Future regulations may restrict or prohibit certain uses of blockchain networks or stablecoins.
Custody Risk. You are solely responsible for safeguarding wallet credentials. Loss of private keys or recovery phrases may result in permanent loss of access.
AEGIS does not guarantee the value, liquidity, or continued availability of any digital asset.
You are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling any tax obligations arising from your use of the Product, including receipt of rewards or digital assets.
AEGIS does not provide tax advice and does not withhold taxes unless required by law.
You may not:
AEGIS may suspend or terminate access if abuse or manipulation is detected.
Certain features may not be available in all jurisdictions.
AEGIS may restrict access to monetization or settlement features based on legal, regulatory, or risk considerations.
You are responsible for complying with laws applicable to your use of the Product.
The Product may interact with blockchain networks, infrastructure providers, fiat on-ramp or off-ramp providers, swap providers, and app stores.
AEGIS does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their actions, policies, or failures.
Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
Your use of the Product is subject to the Aegis Privacy Policy.
THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
AEGIS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
AEGIS DOES NOT GUARANTEE:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AEGIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
AEGIS’ TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AEGIS, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from claims arising out of:
AEGIS may modify, suspend, or terminate features, including monetization and settlement functionality, if required by:
AEGIS shall not be liable for modifications made in good faith compliance with legal obligations.
AEGIS may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or security concerns.
Upon termination, your license ends immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Except where prohibited by law, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
Arbitration shall be conducted in English by a single neutral arbitrator.
Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You agree to resolve disputes solely in your individual capacity and not as part of any class, collective, or representative proceeding.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and AEGIS waive any right to a trial by jury in any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Product.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AEGIS regarding the Product.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute waiver.
